Halloween!

I love Halloween but have a super hard time coming up with costume ideas.  Can't wait till she can chose her own.  You can never go wrong with a classic (at least to me), so we went with a basic witch.....the good kind of course.

The hat and cape were made out of an old dress of mine and the skirt is made out of tulle....I love how simple it was to make.  The whole thing came together in less than 2 hours and it turned out great.  I wish I had dressed her in less black though because it's kind of hard to see all the details in the dark.  Oh well.  She had fun.

Here's all of us....lacking costumes, I know.

Trick-or-treating!  Sophie and Blake made it to about 3 houses.  Sophie insisted on holding her candy in her hands (all 3 pieces).  At each house she tried to put her candy back in the bowl.  Just trying to keep things neat and tidy as usual.

Yup...we've made it past 32 weeks....it's probably the last picture you'll get of me, so soak it up.
