Teaching

Now it is really official. I just found out I will be teaching 1st grade! Phonics, Reading, Shapes and Addition. Awesome. It is definitely going to be a challenge, but I really cannot wait. Only sad that I do not live in Colorado...then I could teach Lucy.

It's Official

I am finally going to be a REAL teacher!!! With my own classroom!!!  Starting in August!!!  Not only that, but I will be working six blocks from where I live which is awesome considering that some of my friends are driving 45 minutes to an hour to their schools.  If you are curious, I will be teaching 4th, 5th, or 6th grade (I should find out in the next day or so which exactly).  Here's a picture of the school.  

The good news:  Both Rob and I have jobs AND I will officially be done with classes on July 23.  The bad news: Rob and I will definitely be spending about 4 months living in different states. You may be asking yourself what I have repeatedly asked myself, "What is Rob going to do without Ellie?"  The answer, he will probably starve (except for on weekends because he'll have his mom! Lucky him!!).
