These last few weeks have been busy busy. We've had a lot of fun and can't believe that Rob is done with his first year of business school (except for finals, those are next week). Lucky for me, the time has gone by quickly as well. The MBA program at BYU has an awesome spouses association and I've been able to make some really good friends through it.
A few weeks ago I participated in a splash n' dash with some of the friends I've made through the program. 1/2 mile swim and a 5k. It was a lot of fun. I finished my swim in under 20 minutes, which if you know how horrible of a swimmer I am, you would feel like it was a huge accomplishment like I do. The whole thing took me 47 minutes. Not too shabby for 3 months post-partum.
We had a fun Easter party with the whole group too. Sophie discovered that she can fit under cars. That is why she looks like a burn victim in this photo.
Sophie protecting her lute.
I think she found more eggs than everyone else combined.
The weather has been amazing here lately and so we've been exploring some of the parks that are near our apartment. We have found some pretty amazing ones that we never knew existed.
Then, on Saturday, it snowed and stayed on the ground for the 2nd time this winter. Not kidding. It has been really light on the snow this year. So we busted out our winter gear and played outside.
Sophie had more fun eating the snow than anything else.
And stuffing it into plastic eggs. She could never quite figure out why it wouldn't stay in there...
This is what happens when you tell an almost two year old to say 'cheese.'
The cute scarf and leg warmers she is wearing were all made by my mom. These pictures don't do them justice. They are the cutest things she owns.
Sophie and her partner in crime. Notice how Sophie is still shorter than him even while standing in the doll stroller. She used his height to steel that sucker off of the counter. Yes, he is wearing one of my shoes.
We met Cosmo. He may have been 4th string Cosmo and may have accidentally trampled a 4 year old girl during a race at the MBA family field day, but we'll chose to ignore all of those facts and just be happy that we got a picture with him.
For Easter, we went on a little walk down the Provo River Trail and had a small picnic. We fed these ducks at the beginning of the trail, and they followed us (in the water) all the way down river to where we stopped to eat. Then climbed out and basically sat on our picnic blanket trying to get more food.
My favorite picture to date. I can not stop laughing when I look at this photo. This pretty much sums up their relationship up to this point. Charlotte lives in fear, people.

I can't tell if it is Charlotte with bulging eyes because Sophie is squeezing her or if it is really Siamese twins. I knew a couple in high school, looked just like these two.
Love Dad
