Perfection.

I can not believe Sophie is three months old.  It seems like she was born last week, but I also feel like I've been a mom forever.  I don't know where my itty bitty six pound baby went.  She has changed so much and even though it was love at first sight, I love her more and more every day.

I am pretty terrible at writing in a journal, but I do try to keep track of things as they happen.   Recently she has started playing with toys.  She has been able to hold her head up for a while now, but about three weeks ago she started pushing herself up on her hands from her tummy.  I love when she does this.  She can practically scoot herself on the ground already by kicking her feet on the floor.  It is pretty incredible to see this tiny baby moving herself so well.

Today, she did her first real laugh.  It was probably the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life.  She has laughed on numerous occasions before this but never for more than a second or two.  I'm talking full on hysterics.  It began as a cute little laugh that made Sarah and I laugh back.  From there she just fed off of us and kept going.  Sarah was there to prove it.  I tried to get it on camera, but by the time I got it out she had lost interest.  Here's an old picture (about 2 weeks ago) of her laughing.

Recently, she has become obsessed with the television.  I feel sort of horrible letting her watch it, but if it is ever on and she is in the room, you can bet that is where she is looking.  

It holds her interest endlessly (or at least for as long as I'll allow her to look at it).  She practically watched an entire soccer game with Rob.  AND...she has already picked up his nervous habit.  Nail biting.  Liverpool was having a rough day.  Who can blame her?

Other than enjoying every minute with the little one, I have been sewing.  A LOT.  Mostly for her, but some for me too.  Someday I'll show you some of my projects...
