Refreshed

This week I feel so refreshed.  Maybe it's because I'm back to running again. Yeah, it's been awhile. The babe has slept 7 hours straight 3 different times this week. I'm not trying to brag, it's just so much better than the usual 1 1/2 to 3 hours I usually get between feeding her. And I have made dinner every day this week. I hate admitting it, but I have been somewhat of a slacker in that arena lately. Oh yeah, and not too mention I can see the bottom of my laundry bin for the first time in MONTHS. Sick, I know! Gone are the days when I do the laundry to find a particular item and ignore the rest.  Needless to say it has been a good week.  I've even started a few sewing projects that I am determined to finish before I go to AZ in August.  I feel good just typing this stuff, like I've actually accomplished things this week.

Anyways, on to more exciting and cute things.

Sophie is the only person I know that loves to shower as much as her dad.  Yesterday we showered together and every time I moved out of the water to get out she got this sad/betrayed face.  So we stayed in the shower until it started getting cold...yeah I'm a softie.

The girl who can escape even the tightest of swaddles looked so snuggly in her little towel right up until  she peed in it...so about 2 minutes.  Every time I capture a picture of a smile it is partially concealed.  If those eye's don't say smile though, I don't know what does.

We went camping last weekend with my family.  I LOVE going to our cabin.  It is on my list of favorite places right up there with Lake Powell.  I call it camping because contrary to what others may believe should be in a cabin, ours does not have running water, a TV, microwave, or any electricity for that mater.  We use an outhouse, generator (if we need it), and cook over the fire or propane stove.  So I CAN actually call it camping because it is more like camping than vacationing at the family hotel and spa.  It was a unique experience with a baby, trying to keep her away from the bugs and smoke, but great to be with the family.  Plus, I'm pretty sure I can attribute some of our successful sleeping this week to this sister, who got Sophie to go a 6 hour stretch while we were up at the cabin....miracle worker.

Everyone wanted to snuggle her.

Cutie.  Look at those eyes!  Seriously!

Lookin at her daddy.

She looks SO chubby in this one.  I love it!

All bundled up to sleep.  Oh, and that cute hat was made by her aunt Jenny.

The whole Wynn bunch + Trevor.

Trevor qualifies as a Wynn now that he's had that experience with us. Frankly, I'm surprised he's alive to tell about it. :)

No pics of the lumber jack incident? Sheesh. I'll have to put some up. hahahah... Byron was telling his Dad the other day about the the incident I speak of and said, "All Scott needs is the slightest bit of encouragement and he'll do anything. And, Rob usually gives him that encouragement." hahaahaha I was peeing because I didn't realize how true it was until he started listing some examples. Ill have to tell you about it later...but it was funny... to me.

Also, you are dead for that pic of me sleeping. NASTY!

P.S. I now believe I hold the record for longest blog comment ever.
