Spring Break

I love going home.  The last few months have seriously flown by and this week has been the first week I have had a chance to breathe (ok...so I can't really breathe...the little girl inside me has completely taken over the area under my rib cage and basically set up shop on top of my lungs...if you want proof, ask to see the bruises).  Not only did I get a break from 25 six and seven year olds, but from the miserable weather that has not let up for a few weeks in Utah.  I could hardly contain my excitement from the airplane when I looked out to see a blue sky and a sun which I swear I have not seen in months.  My class has literally started refusing to do the weather during calendar time because, "it never changes Mrs. Campbell."

I spent the week hanging out with my family, mostly my mom because the brothers are still in school and the dad apparently has to go to work....lame.  I helped my dad plant his garden (which is super cool and even contains dirt from his own 2 year compost), went to my brothers' track meet (they are super studly they both run under 4:40 miles...crazy), got a little sunburnt, met up with an old friend, and visited this sweet boy and his cute parents.  It was a great week and I am sad that I have to leave tomorrow but excited to be back with Rob.  He finally got a little taste of what is was like to be home alone (although mine was a lot worse)...not so fun.  If it weren't for Matt, I think he would have starved the whole week.

I'm so jeal.

Sorry, I just love talking like that, especially when no one knows I'm joking but you. I'm not joking about being jealous though. I definitely am.

P.S. The period goes inside quotation marks (and outside paretheses). Forgive me. I have problems.
