Christmas Miracles

So, what began as a boring old Christmas in our basement apartment ended quite differently.  In fact, two hours after it began, we were on an airplane home to Arizona for Christmas.  Unexpected and wonderful.  Contrary to what many may believe, snow does not equal Christmas.  In fact, I am happier with a snowless Christmas.  I love Arizona.  I love my family.  But mostly, I love both together.  It was perfect ( Ok I would have loved to go skiing, but since that is out of the picture this winter anyways, I got over it quickly).

We spent Christmas Eve at Rob's house and had our annual The Nightmare Before Christmas sing-a-long party before we went to bed.  Except this time I was exhausted and Rob kept noticing that I was falling asleep because he couldn't hear me singing.  I can normally get away with it.  Then we spent Christmas morning with my family....yummy breakfast and fun presents (baby toys...you can never start too soon).

Christmas dinner was even better.  Rob's family invited my family over for dinner...i'm pretty sure I don't know anyone who has it better than me.  I spent Christmas with my entire family (minus Katie, Matt and the girls because she was having a baby, and Steff, Byron, and Wes because they were still in Utah).  Then we drove back to Utah with my family and spent a few days staying in North Salt Lake with my family.  We had our annual talent show and spent a lot of time trying to get baby Wes to smile...he just can't seem to hold up those chubby cheeks.

Also, Rob helped Matt move up to provo...just like old times, only he won't be living with us this time.

Oh yeah...and Katie had her baby.  1st nephew on the Campbell side.  Pretty exciting.
