I noticed the other day that I spend a lot of time telling Sophie to do things. So I started keeping track of all of the "commands" she understands and follows through with. It sort of cracks me up because she will literally do anything you ask her, when you ask her. I'm sure this little phase won't last long, as some of her sweetness is slowly being replaced by attitude, but I can cherish these moments while they last.
Find your baby (or where's your baby or any other toy including ball, train, doll, ect)
Give me a hug.
Give me a kiss.
Give dad a hug/kiss.
Give the baby a hug/kiss.
Walk to dad. (or any other form)
Clean up. This is usually followed by a song that I made up, and yes, she will clean up all of her toys while I sing it. But, if I say clean up and give her a wipe at the same time, she will start wiping things down (floors, counters, tables, toys, you name it, she'll clean it.
Blow your nose.
Wipe your tray.
Stand up.
Stop.
Come here.
Don't touch that.
Say hi.
Wave hi.
Say goodbye.
Fold your arms.
Blow a kiss.
Find your milk/bottle.
Drink your milk.
Find your water.
Put it back.
Chose a book.
Turn the page.
Lay down. She will do this anytime, anywhere. If you ask her to lay down, she will stop, sit, and put her head on the floor. It sort of feels like Ella Enchanted sometimes.
Come find me. Our version of hide-n-seek, which she rocks at....I can never trick her.
There are more, i'm sure, but these were the one's I kept track of today. Good listener huh? I promise I'm not as mean as I sound. These are usually followed by a please, thank you, or good job. After which, she usually claps for herself or tells herself "yay" with her hands up in the air.
