8 Months

Some things about her:

1.  She's crawling.  Well...ok only a few feet at a time, but man the girl can get around.

2.  Bite and chew.  She ate almost a whole banana like this yesterday and she doesn't have any teeth.  Yeah-she's a rockstar.  She also likes to gnaw on carrots and cucumbers and any kind of leafy green.

3.  Sings along to Sesame Street.  She likes Feist's 1, 2, 3, 4 the best.  You would too if you saw it.  She claps her hands on the table to the beat.  At least I like to think so.  

4.  She LOVES puffed Kamut.  Especially if she gets to feed herself and put 10 in at the same time.

5.  Loves naps and going to bed.  She will lay her head down wherever she is to let me know she is ready and rarely cry's when I put her down.

6.  She can undo the velcro on her diapers...not awesome.  And she LOVES to crawl away while your trying to change her.

7.  Laughs and giggles more than ever.  All you really have to do to get a laugh is look at her with your eyes open wide.

8.  She wants to stand.  ALL THE TIME.  She will lock her body at her waist if you try to sit her down.  

9.  Read books.  She loves books and loves to turn the pages for you.  Not always at the correct time, but still, it's cute.

10.  She started to cry (more like a whimper) when her dad leaves the room.  She used to only do this for me...definitely becoming a daddy's girl.

11.  She loves other babies.  They mesmerize her.  She will smile at them and giggle even if they are not looking back.

12.   She wants everyone to look at her.  She will do anything to get people to look her way.

13.  She loves drinking out of cups.

14.  Likes to Cuddle.  Again.  It has been several months since she will voluntarily cuddle with us, but now she likes it again!  I'm so glad she does.

15.  Likes "alone" time in her crib.  She would lay there for hours after waking up just talking to herself and playing with her feet if I'd let her.  

Oh i'm sure there is more...but you get the idea.  She's a pretty cool girl.

It's impossible not to love her.
